Blue can be seen as a cold colour and also it is associated with feeling down. However blue can also be a most vibrant and magical colour as shown in this image.
Tan looks far from cold or down.

When I started work on my rebuild of Avilion Refuge I knew that I wanted a central telehub into which all guests arrived. This telehub would be in the air and from that the visitors would travel down to the land after first being reminded of the nature of the land.
